We are currently seeking a highly organized, technically skilled Project Manager to join our team and oversee end-to-end execution of live event and expo projects.
Tradeshow / Expo Project Manager Position Summary:
The Tradeshow / Expo Project Manager is responsible for implementing and managing all technical aspects of assigned live events and expo projects. This role requires coordination with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure successful onsite execution—on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a high volume of concurrent live event and expo projects
Lead pre-show planning, onsite execution, and post-show follow-ups
Collaborate with clients and internal sales teams to define and deliver MIG product and service offerings
Develop and manage budgets, proposals, and scope of work documents
Interpret client agendas into technical show flows and CAD layouts
Schedule and supervise onsite labor, trucking, installation, and dismantling
Coordinate venue needs including power, internet, rigging, and equipment rentals
Maintain strict adherence to company file structure, timelines, and budget documentation
Travel frequently to event sites across the U.S. and internationally
Serve as onsite leader, providing direction, resolving issues, and ensuring quality
Tradeshow / Expo Project Manager Qualifications:
3+ years of project management experience in live events, tradeshows, or related industries
Strong technical knowledge of event production equipment and labor planning
Proficient in Excel, including formulas and linked cells
Working knowledge of CAD (Vectorworks or equivalent)
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; confident in client-facing and live-event settings
Excellent time management, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Experience managing budgets, show flows, and technical crews onsite
Must be detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and calm under pressure
Tradeshow / Expo Project Manager Compensation & Benefits:
Salary: $60,000 to $100,000 per year (based on experience)
